It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce our successful tender for the Skills Support for the Unemployed (SSU) programme in East London, led by applicant 15billion.
Our SSU programme in East London has a contract value of over £1.5m. It is co-financed by the Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund and aims to support over 870 unemployed adults from key priority groups aged 19+. It covers Barking & Dagenham, City of London, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, starting imminently and running until July 2015.
15billion and Rinova will be working with a partnership that includes Enterprise Enfield, Hackney Community College, the London Borough of Waltham Forest, Redbridge Works, Maze8, Gingerbread, Metropolitan, Middleton Murray, Quest, Barking and Dagenham College, the Prince’s Trust, Fashion Enter and the Osmani Trust
Richard Parkes of Rinova said “We are naturally delighted with this result. By working closely with 15billion and our partners we have been able to offer the SFA, and unemployed people across the sub-region, an unrivalled breadth and quality of provision. There is little time to celebrate, though – the hard work starts now.”
15billion received further good news this week when they were re-accredited with Matrix. Ian Porter, Chief Executive, said “Being successful with our tender for SSU is a fantastic achievement and gives us the opportunity to build further on our successful employment initiatives. We are looking forward to hitting the ground running with Rinova and our partners”.
