We are delighted to announce that we have secured over 80,000 Euros to finance an exciting new international project for Creative Apprentices.
Over the next two years, 30 young Apprentices who are being supported through the Rinova Consortium will expand their experience, knowledge and portfolios by undertaking practical work experience & supported training within 2 partner organisations in Spain and Italy, participating in exciting festivals and events.
Funded by the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Mobility Programme, the project builds upon previous international collaboration between consortium members Rinova, WAC and Collage Arts and transnational partners through ground-breaking projects such as STEP and Euro-ASPIRE and youth exchange projects such as Collaboration in the Air.
The Apprentices will be involved in all aspects of planning, marketing and eventually performing at these events, building evidence for their National Vocational Qualifications and gaining valuable experience for career development. Participants will be undertaking one of the qualifications from the Creative Apprenticeship and specialisms will vary across the group – some will be performers undertaking Music Technology or Technical Theatre, whilst others will be undertaking the Creative & Digital Media qualification (which incorporates photography, video production and sound), others will be studying the Live Events and Promotion qualification or Arts Administration.
