As you might have seen on our Instagram @creativerework we have recently had our Dance Leadership level 1 cohort, as part of our Adult Skills Fund contract, organise, host and perform at the event Common Ground.
This event really reflected what we are doing on our day to day at CRW+: fostering collaboration, creativity, inclusion, support and ambition.
We are incredibly proud of the team and our learners who have had completely different experience levels when it came to organising an event and who joyfully and with focus stepped into their responsibilities: helping with the marketing, doing the tech and lighting, hosting, stage managing, performing, taking BTS footage etc …. We were absolutely blown away by their engagement! A big shout out to all of them at this point.
This event has helped us to put CRW+ into a stronger position within the dance community in London and we have built connections that will hopefully continue to grow. Our aim is it to have more events of this sort, if our course layout allows to establish more and more of a presence in the scene.
